CSA Details

The 2020 season is here and we want to offer you membership in our CSA program. Our CSA will run for 16 weeks from June 25 through October 22. Each week you’ll receive a box of seasonally available fresh vegetables and herbs along with an email newsletter containing recipes, tips and stories from the farm. We offer two sizes of CSA boxes:

SMALL CSA BOX – 16 WEEKS
$450

Includes 6–8 items each week. Small shares are designed for 1–2 people who cook some of their meals at home and are modest vegetable eaters.

LARGE CSA BOX – 16 WEEKS
$600

Includes 8–10 items each week. Large shares are perfect for 3–4 people who cook some their meals at home and are modest vegetable eaters, or 1–2 voracious veggie eaters who love to cook.

WHAT COMES IN YOUR BOX?

Early season examples: kale, radishes, Japanese baby turnips, spicy salad mix, spinach, Asian greens, snap peas, Chinese broccoli, chives and pea shoots

Mid season examples: beets, carrots, tomatoes, chrysanthemum greens (shinguku), green beans, basil, shiso herb, hot peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, mizuna and summer squash

Late season examples: Asian greens, parsley, cabbage, carrots, kabocha winter squash, daikon radish, tomatoes, garlic chives, collard greens and shelling peas

EGG ADD-ON

We converted our flock to laying hens after consistent feedback that family and friends would love to get eggs from Tuk Muk. Throughout the season, pasture-raised chicken eggs will be available to add onto your weekly box. We’ll notify you by email when eggs are available. A dozen eggs is $7.00.

PICKUP & PAYMENT

We are still finalizing our pickup locations. Your weekly box will be available on Thursdays from 4-7pm at 2 locations in Seattle, or by arrangement at the farm. Delivery is possible while we are dealing with the current community health challenges.

Membership must be paid in full at the time of purchase. As part of the CSA model, all payments will go toward the production of your boxes and are non-refundable. At the moment online and credit/debit processing is not available, but we accept cash, check and money order and Venmo. We also highly support non monetary systems!! We are happy to provide work exchange, bartering and other forms of mutually beneficial exchange!

Due to the current health challenges we are facing we are happy to work with our community to provide you with safe high quality food. We strive to provide and maintain a healthy environment for you and your food.

As well we encourage our members who can help to support another member to please contact us. Your donations will go directly to a CSA share for a member in need.
